[Original Posting: August 12] This year is the 50 year anniversary for Joseph City High School. We plan on having some fun to celebrate throughout the year. To get it started, here are some selections from the 1972 yearbook, the year of our first graduating class. Homecoming Week this year is September 20-24. [Original Posting: August 12] The JH/HS will be holding a site council meeting on Tuesday, August 17th @ 4:30pm in the library. A site council meeting is an opportunity for school staff, students, parents, and community member to come together and discuss important school matters. On the agenda for this meeting will be the school dress code and other student handbook topics, the high school's 50th anniversary this year, and other items. This will be taken into consideration and not held against students when calculating attendance requirements for as long as is necessary at our schools. [Original Posting: July 26] Cross Country will be having an open run this week @ 4 pm on Monday, July 26th and Wednesday, July 28th. Strength and Conditioning will be taking place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4 pm. The season officially starts on August 9th. You must have a physical and your fees paid by this date to continue practicing. Also, remember to complete your registration on Register My Athlete. All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are welcome to come have fun playing softball. All Athletes must have a physical and have paid the athletic sports fee by Monday, August 9th.
