There has been an update to the COVID vaccination clinic this morning. The company brought the Moderna vaccine. They only brought 15 doses. They will give booster shots if you bring your card showing your previous COVID vaccination. Flu shots are also available. They will be here from 8am-10am. Also, due to the change from the Pfizer to the Moderna vaccine, they will not be offering it to students under the age of 18. We apologize for the confusion.

Reminder that there is a COVID vaccination clinic at the HS campus tomorrow, Wednesday, September 8th. This should not be confused with the flu shot clinic that the school also hosts.
Students who are interested in receiving a vaccination need to have their parent present or their permission slip signed. Employees who are interested in receiving the COVID vaccine on Wednesday should line out arrangements with their supervisor. The vaccinations are also open to the community. They are bringing booster shots for those who are eligible and interested in receiving them.

COVID vaccinations will be available to students, staff, and the community on September 8th, from 8:00am - 10:00am at the High School Wrestling Room. This will include the booster option for those who have a compromised immune system.

We have a busy week here at Joseph City Junior/Senior High School.
Both Cross Country and Volleyball kick off their seasons today.
Cross Country will be traveling to Hopi for a meet starting at 4 pm and Volleyball will be traveling to St. Johns for games starting at 4:30 pm.
JH 8th grade softball will be traveling today to play in Show Low at 4 pm. JH 7th grade softball will have a home game today against Show Low at 4 pm.
Other events this week.
These are all home events except for the Cross Country Meet.

Thurs. at 4:30 - VB against Rock Point
Thurs. at 4:00 - JH SB against Blueridge

A Football Game has been scheduled for tomorrow for the High School Varsity team at Lincoln Prep near Chandler.
The game time is 7:00 pm.
There are no bleachers. Please bring a chair for seating.
Also, they will have you pay for your tickets while you are still in your car as you pull into the parking area.
We apologize for the late notice. This game just barely came together late in the afternoon today.
We appreciate all those in the AIA and the Joseph City Schools that pulled together to make this game a possibility.

Home Football Game on September 3rd with Salome time change.
New game time is 2:00 pm.
This game time change is due to the AIA being able to have officials for our game.
